VERDE IN ST MARTIN: moving towards ecology

  St. Martin, its white sand beaches, and brilliant sunshine really did not mesh with refuse, garbage and seafront dumping!
Verde has transformed this contiguous historic site from a Nature Preserve into a waste management Ecosite for the island, soon to be up to environmental standards.
Two facilities are rubbing elbows: ISD from the Overseas Community (COM) for the stocking of household waste and Ecosite from Verde strictly speaking where St Martin’s ever increasing industrial waste is received, separated, recycled or treated. It is an example in the region.
